When your backyard is as vast and as wild as Tumble Creek’s – and a river runs right through it – there are endless enticing options right outside your door: fly-fishing, canoeing, rafting, mountain biking, hiking, picnicking. And there’s plenty more just beyond Suncadia’s 6,400-acre property. Located in the Cascade Mountains in close proximity to ski resorts and lakes, Tumble Creek is the perfect home for explorers and adventurers.
At home and further afield
Into the wild
Bordering on the 1,200-acre Kittitas Conservancy Trust preserve, land protected in perpetuity, this landscape is abundant in wildlife with the Cle Elum River coursing throughout. The prominent resident and migratory Roosevelt Elk herds graze the meadows year round. The elk “shed” their antlers each spring in the surrounding forests and meadows, creating opportunities for rarest of finds. Deer and the bird populations here are nearly limitless complemented by the Bald Eagle and Osprey (Seahawk) who keep watchful eye over this majestic habit.
